You can close your Monniz Business account at any time and without justification. Before closing, empty your wallet by making a final withdrawal to your Mobile Money or a transfer to another account.
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject 'Account closure request'. Specify your full name, your Monniz Business account number (MB-XXXXXXXX), and attach a copy of your ID to confirm your identity.
If your balance is non-zero at the time of the request, the support team will assist you in transferring the remaining funds to the external account of your choice before closure.
Closure is effective within 7 to 15 business days. Your transaction data and KYC/KYB documents are kept only for the legal durations required by regulations, then deleted.
Closure is **definitive**: you will not be able to reactivate the account once the procedure is completed. If you want to use Monniz Business again later, you will create a new account from scratch.
