Here’s how Monniz Business protects your account, your data, and your operations. No slogans, just the mechanisms in place.

Verified identity (KYC & KYB)

Each user is verified individually (ID + selfie). Each business undergoes a KYB in 8 steps (business registration, permissions according to profession) before accessing transfers, withdrawals, and virtual cards.

Strong authentication

Password + two-factor authentication (2FA) with a 6-digit code sent by email at each login. Active sessions managed and revocable at any time, additional verification for login from a new device.

PIN code on financial transactions

Every transfer, withdrawal, creation, or recharge of a virtual card requires a dedicated PIN. The PIN is securely stored and never in plain text, and temporarily locks after several failed attempts.

Virtual cards USD

Virtual cards USD are issued via a PCI DSS certified partner. Sensitive information (full number, CVV) is protected on the display page and masked in internal logs.

Encryption & transport

All communications between your dashboard and our servers are encrypted in TLS. Passwords and PIN codes are stored securely, never in plain text.

Operational anti-fraud

Debit limits to block brute force attempts, grouping of suspicious sessions, idempotence on each financial write to avoid double payments.

Compliance

The rules are strict.

We follow the data protection and anti-fraud standards that apply in UEMOA, and we rely on certified partners for sensitive components (cards, payments).

Personal KYC + Business KYB

Identity verification wizard (ID + selfie) and business verification (business registration, permits according to profession).

LCB-FT

Combating money laundering and terrorist financing: transactional monitoring and thresholds by KYB level.

Data compliance

Right of access, rectification, and deletion of your personal data upon simple request to the support team.

PCI DSS

The issuer of our USD virtual cards is PCI DSS certified. No sensitive card data is stored at Monniz.

5 simple steps to stay safe.

  • 1Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) from Settings → Security.
  • 2Set a PIN code (4 to 6 digits) to validate sensitive operations.
  • 3Regularly check active sessions and revoke those you do not recognize.
  • 4Never share your password, your PIN, or your 2FA codes, Monniz will never ask you for them.
  • 5If you lose your phone, contact support to block your account until you regain access.
