When you create your Monniz Business account, you can immediately receive payments via your shop, create invoices and quotes. However, **outgoing** financial operations (transfers, withdrawals, virtual cards) are blocked until your KYB is validated.
KYB (Know Your Business) is an 8-step business verification: business name, commercial register, municipal permits according to your vertical (for example, health permit for a restaurant), manager's ID, proof of address, and business activity.
This verification protects the Monniz ecosystem against fraudulent use. It's a standard requirement for all financial platforms operating in the UEMOA zone.
Once submitted, the KYB is processed by our team within 24 to 48 business hours. You will receive an email upon approval, and all features will be automatically unlocked.
