Freeze or revoke a card in case of issues

Block instantly in case of fraud or compromised provider.

3 min of reading

If you suspect that a card has been compromised (stolen number, provider bankrupt, fraudulent charge), you can block it immediately from your dashboard.

**Freezing a card** puts it on hold: no transactions can be authorized, but the card remains active, and you can unfreeze it later. Useful while you investigate a suspicious transaction.

Go to Cards → select the card → 'Freeze' button. The card instantly changes to 'frozen' status.

**Terminating a card** is final: the card is revoked, its residual balance is transferred to your XOF wallet, and you can no longer reactivate it. You issue a new one if needed.

All actions on your cards (creation, freeze, unfreeze, termination, top-up, withdrawal) are audited with their timestamps and accessible in the history of each card.
